About the programme Our international Master's programme offers you a unique opportunity to acquire advanced academic skills, competences and knowledge in the following area of specialisation: Education and Social Change: Childhood and Youth Studies (ESCY) - ties together the concepts Education, Social Change, Childhood and Youth. Video file The programme provides a highly interactive and supportive learning environment, where the academic staff and students work closely together in various learning environments. The programme starts with a course that introduces all students to the specific features of Norwegian education in its Nordic context after which you continue with the specialisation that you have selected. All courses are in English. The University of Oslo hosts one of the leading Faculties of Educational Sciences in Europe, and research is the cornerstone of the University`s ongoing development as an educational institution of high international standing.
