This is the programme of study for those who would like to continue studying informatics after having taken a bachelor degree. The two-year master programme in Informatics provides you with advanced and research-oriented competence in informatics. The world is undergoing a fast digitalisation process and by studying informatics you will have an opportunity to exert an influence on the technological development. You will acquire knowledge on scientific work and develop your analytical skills to solve new and challenging problems caused by the technological development. Moreover, you will acquire knowledge through your chosen specialisation through specialisation courses, projects, and work on the master’s thesis. Each specialisation is connected to a research group. You will acquire scientific competence within one of the following disciplines: Databases and search Artificial intelligence Software systems Interaction design, gaming, and learning technology The programme qualifies for an advanced level in the discipline and for admission to doctoral degree programmes. After a master degree, you can pursue a PhD programme. This master program is taught in English.
