This is a condition for successful digitalisation, increased interaction, and reliable information. Through this programme you will learn how to deal with and prevent cyberattacks to strengthen civil protection. You will learn how to plan, implement, and lead work in the information security field in a professional way. Information security is an interdisciplinary field that requires extensive knowledge of informatics and mathematics. You will gain an understanding for ethical and legal aspects of security and privacy. You may choose one of the following specializations: Information security technology Digital investigation Information security management Through this programme you will be qualified to work on. among other things, critical infrastructure, technical crime investigation and incident response, security management, as well as for positions in law enforcement, national security, and preparedness. You will be able to work on digital security, intelligence for the police and organizations with a need for increased digital security. There is a great need for information security experts. The programme may be taken as a 2-year full-time programme or as a 4-year part-time programme along with a job. The programme is taught in English. After a masters degree, you can pursue a PhD programme.
