The AI and IoT program provides you with a unique competitive advantage in the market. The study program has two specializations: AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things). Our talented lecturers and supervisors provide you with personalized support throughout the study, in development and research projects, as well as in the lecture hall. In close collaboration with our world-class researchers, you can immerse yourself in innovative areas: AI, computer vision, data science and decision support, or IoT with mobile and wireless communication, data networks, 5G, and edge computing. What will you learn? IoT (Internet of Things) The IoT specialization focuses on modern communication technology, security, development, and use of services. AI (Artificial Intelligence) The AI specialization focuses on different technical aspects of artificial intelligence, as well as application in current domains. Projects and Contact with Industry You will also learn about project management, research methods, teamwork, and group dynamics. As a student in the master's program in AI and IoT, you actively participate in seminars and projects that address new and current topics. Good contact with industry means many students work on master's theses built on relevant issues from external clients. What can I do with my degree? After completing the study programme, candidates will be awarded Master's degree, and able to move directly into the professional field as an ICT engineer. Graduates frequently obtain leading positions in industry and business. The programme is directly relevant to the computing and communication industry, but job opportunities are not limited to such fields. The graduates from this programme may also be qualified for a career in research, and for doctoral studies in ICT, which is offered by most universities throughout the world. The Faculty of Engineering and Science offers its own PhD programme specialization in ICT as well.
