What you will learn Whether you are interested in cybersecurity, cryptography, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, or other topics in computer science, our program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip you with the tools and expertise needed to succeed. We have established collaboration with industries that focus on research and development. We emphasize learning how to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical tasks, and many of our modules include project work. The program has two specializations in Cybersecurity and Embedded Systems. You will also have the option to proceed with a general degree in Computer Science without any specialization. Our curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in Computer Science and Engineering, as well as hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and tools. The program will give you advanced skills and knowledge in computer science and engineering. You will learn how to design and develop scalable and complex systems and make sure that newly developed systems perform as desired. Further studies A master’s degree in computer science will give you the opportunity to apply for PhD programs at either USN, other universities in Norway, or abroad. Get international experience You can take parts of your courses (up to 30 ECTS) abroad as an exchange student. You can even have an internship after graduation.
