Master's Programme in Composition

We offer four areas of focus: Specialisation in interdisciplinary composition Compositional studies in the interdisciplinary fields is based on the students ongoing navigation between different artistic disciplines, which can include instrumental practices as well as a wide range of other approaches. Specialisation in acoustic composition Acoustic composition offers a wide array of training and practice within the field of instrumental and vocal composition. Specialisation in creative music technology This specialisation is aimed at composition students who wish to work with an expanded range of materials and approaches within an electroacoustic and music technology–oriented context. Specialisation in jazz composition for large ensembles When specializing in jazz composition, you will compose music that is performed by internal and external orchestras.
