Master's Programme in Business Administration is a master's degree programme lasting 2 years | 120 ECT, taught in English at University of Agder in Kristiansand.

UiA offers two specialisations in MSc Business Administration for international applicants: Finance Are you interested in the use of financial markets for financial investments and risk and investment management? Do you want to achieve competence in advanced statistical analysis based on big and complex data? The specialisation in Analytical Finance has a wide disciplinary approach to the fact that theory of finance is constantly developed and refined. The finance industry changes quickly and produces an ever-increasing volume of data. Consequently, there is a growing need for employees who possess a solid understanding of finance theory and who can process and analyse financial data. This specialisation will provide you with deep knowledge of financial modelling, computer programming skills, and experience in quantitative analysis of real-world financial data. International Business This specialisation provides students with theoretical insights and analytical skills in handling business management and challenges in international markets. Central to the programme are multinational companies and how they operate. Challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) when entering the international arena will also be discussed. The study programme provides students with knowledge of how the strategic and operational challenges can be analysed, and how these can be handled. For instance by developing and implementing relevant strategies, management and marketing practices, and management control systems. International and Norwegian students are admitted to the programme, and all compulsory courses and several electives are taught in English. The programme gives students increased cultural understanding and knowledge of international business, making them well suited for positions in enterprises operating in international markets.
