The Master's Programme in Mechatronics addresses integration of mechanical engineering, instrumentation engineering, hydraulic and electric drive and industrial IT. You learn to use your knowledge about the interactions between these disciplines working with design and manufacture of products and processes. A crucial aspect of the education involves mastering the ability to effectively simulate machines and processes. Hence, there's active emphasis on establishing the mathematical groundwork to autonomously set up simulations and utilize commercial software for modeling. These simulations are integral in the design and analysis of mechatronic systems. Two mandatory courses and two electives The third semester consists of two mandatory courses and two electives. Students have the freedom to choose from the offered electives as outlined in the curriculum above. The content from the elective courses is integrated into the compulsory project course. The electives offer the opportunity to specialize in artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, biomechatronics, programming, and mechanical design.
